OPEN CASTING BEGINS FOR NEW AUDIO SEASON “DEAD WHISPERS”

We are looking for bright, witty, and charismatic performers ages 16-55 to voice roles for the upcoming season of the If It Scares You podcast, which will be our scariest yet! We’re casting for both lead and supporting characters in what will be a 6-hour, audio limited series event.

Since 2020, the series has produced many spooky tales over four seasons, blending the frightening with funny with the newest season, Dead Whispers, releasing later this year.

Take a look at the audition casting side document below. All interested talent can record themselves reading their desired character and scene and send their audition to ifitscaresyou@gmail.com by Friday, July 19th at 11:59pm. Auditions can be submitted via video, mp3, or wav files. Performers can read for multiple roles and submit numerous recordings if they wish.

Recording will take place in late August over one or two recording sessions. Selected performers will need to be in the Boise, Idaho area during the sessions and may also be needed at a later date (late Aug, early Sept) to film promotional material for the series.

Many artists have contributed to the podcast series over the years as a labor of love. Although unpaid, all participating performers this year will receive a unique acting credit on their resume, and exposure via podcast appearances, social media posts, IMDb credits, and more.

The deadline for all auditions will be Friday, July 19th. Finalized dates and times will be sent to all selected talent in early August.
